This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use our website, applications, protocol interfaces, and related services. By using VADER, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Data We Collect

We may collect and process the following types of data:

  • Account Data: Email address, username, display name, account identifiers, authentication records, referral codes, and profile settings.
  • Profile Data: Avatar images, display names, linked wallet addresses, referral activity, reward records, and information you add to your profile.
  • Contribution Data: Physical AI training data submitted through the protocol, including egocentric videos, simulation outputs, teleoperation recordings, task labels, task metadata, submission timestamps, upload metadata, validation status, quality signals, and related contribution records.
  • Video and Media Data: Videos, images, audio, and metadata contained in uploaded submissions. These may include personal data relating to you or third parties visible or audible in the submission, including biometric identifiers such as faces, voices, and body movements.
  • Biometric Data: Biometric identifiers and biometric information incidentally or intentionally captured in video, image, or audio submissions, including facial geometry, voice patterns, body movements, and gait data.
  • Model Infrastructure Data: Where you use model infrastructure features, dataset access records, training workflow metadata, evaluation records, partner access records, and related technical data needed to support physical AI model training workflows.
  • Validation Data: Where you use real-world validation features, validation requests, task metadata, model evaluation outputs, and related performance information from controlled lab environments.
  • Wallet and Blockchain Data: Wallet addresses, wallet signatures, linked wallet records, transaction identifiers, reward distribution records, staking or access records, and blockchain-related metadata.
  • Community and Partner Application Data: Information submitted through partner, community, or representative application forms, including name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country or location, community details, social handles, experience, and application notes.
  • Usage and Device Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, access times, log files, security logs, local storage preferences, and technical information generated when you use the Website.
  • Simulation and Behavioral Data: Interaction data, behavioral signals, session recordings, movement patterns, reaction data, and related information generated passively during your use of simulation environments and related tools.
  • Communications Data: Messages, support requests, feedback, and other communications you send to us.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use data for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website, applications, and protocol interfaces.
  • To create and manage user accounts.
  • To authenticate users through email, wallet signatures, or other supported login methods.
  • To process uploads, submissions, simulations, teleoperation sessions, and other physical AI data contributions.
  • To evaluate submissions, detect fraud, enforce task requirements, and maintain dataset quality.
  • To allocate Vader Points, $VADER rewards, or other protocol-related rewards where applicable.
  • To associate contributions, rewards, referrals, access records, and wallets with user accounts.
  • To create, organize, maintain, and make available physical AI datasets for model training workflows.
  • To support model training workflows for World Action Models, Vision-Language-Action models, and task-specific policy models.
  • To support evaluation and real-world model validation in controlled lab environments.
  • To provide partners with access to protocol-sourced physical AI data, derived datasets, metadata, and related infrastructure needed for model training, evaluation, and validation.
  • To communicate with users, contributors, partners, applicants, and support contacts.
  • To enforce our Terms and Conditions and protect VADER, users, partners, and the protocol.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, tax, security, and dispute-resolution obligations.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on your jurisdiction, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases:

  • Contractual Necessity: Processing required to provide the Website, protocol interfaces, account features, uploads, rewards, and related services.
  • Consent: Processing based on your explicit consent where we request it for a specific activity, such as submitting Contribution Data, connecting a wallet, or participating in optional programs. Biometric data is processed exclusively on the basis of explicit consent as described in Section 5. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Legitimate Interests: Processing necessary to operate, secure, improve, and protect the protocol, prevent fraud, evaluate submissions, develop datasets, and support physical AI model training and validation workflows. Legitimate interests is not used as a legal basis for processing biometric data or other special category data; such processing relies solely on explicit consent.
  • Legal Obligations: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or lawful requests.

4. Contribution Data, Videos, and Media

You retain ownership of videos, media, and other Contribution Data you upload. However, by submitting Contribution Data, you grant VADER the rights described in our Terms and Conditions, including rights to use, reproduce, process, modify, anonymize, adapt, analyze, distribute, sublicense, commercialize, and otherwise use the submitted data for physical AI research, dataset creation, model training workflows, evaluation, validation, and related protocol purposes. Contribution Data may contain personal data relating to you or third parties. By uploading it, you confirm that you have all rights, permissions, and consents required to submit the data and grant VADER the applicable license. You must not upload content that unlawfully includes personal data, private information, minors, confidential information, third-party intellectual property, or any content you do not have the right to submit.

5. Biometric Data

Our Services involve the collection of egocentric video and other media that may contain biometric identifiers and biometric information, including facial geometry, voices, body movements, and gait data of you and others who appear in your submissions. This section explains how we handle that data. What we collect. Videos, images, and audio submitted through the Services may contain biometric identifiers and biometric information of you and third parties, captured as part of physical AI training data contributions. Why we collect it. Biometric data is processed as part of physical AI dataset creation, model training workflows, and related research purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We do not collect biometric data for identity verification, surveillance, or unrelated commercial purposes. Your consent. By submitting egocentric video or other media through the Services, you provide your explicit written consent to VADER's collection, storage, processing, and use of any biometric identifiers or biometric information contained in your submission, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at contact@vaderfun.org. Withdrawal of consent does not affect prior lawful processing. Contributor obligations. Before submitting any video or media containing another person's biometric identifiers, you must obtain that person's informed written consent. By submitting, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents from every person whose biometric data appears in your submission. Retention and destruction. We retain biometric identifiers and biometric information for no longer than three (3) years from the date of collection, or until the purpose of collection has been fulfilled, whichever comes first, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. We apply de-identification, anonymization, or pseudonymization to biometric data as part of standard dataset processing where technically feasible. No sale of biometric data. We do not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric identifiers or biometric information as standalone data points.

Texas and Washington residents. If you are a resident of Texas or Washington, you have rights under applicable state biometric privacy laws, including the right to know what biometric data we have collected and to request deletion of that data. 6. Partner Access and Dataset Use

VADER may make Contribution Data, processed data, derived datasets, metadata, annotations, validation records, de-identified data, or aggregated data available to partners for physical AI model training, evaluation, and real-world validation. Where partner access includes original or submission-level Contribution Data, such access will be subject to applicable terms, access controls, and contractual restrictions. Partners are required to use accessed data only under applicable terms, agreements, and restrictions.

7. Model Infrastructure Layer

VADER's model infrastructure layer is designed to support physical AI model training workflows. This may include dataset preparation, training workflow coordination, model evaluation, and related tooling for World Action Models, Vision-Language-Action models, and task-specific policy models. This Privacy Policy does not describe or authorize unrelated uses of Contribution Data for general-purpose inference services or unrelated model serving products.

8. Real-World Validation

VADER may support real-world model validation in controlled lab environments using lab-deployed robots. Data processed for this purpose may include validation requests, task metadata, model evaluation outputs, and related performance information. Where model validation involves partner models or partner data, processing will be handled under applicable terms and access controls.

9. Automated and Human-Assisted Review

VADER may use automated systems, human review, or a combination of both to evaluate submissions, detect fraud, verify task completion, assess quality, and determine reward eligibility. These review processes may use uploaded videos, metadata, task labels, submission history, device or usage signals, and related contribution records. Where required by applicable law, users may have rights to request information about, contest, or seek human review of certain automated decisions. 10. Wallets and Blockchain Data

We collect and process wallet addresses, wallet signatures, linked wallet records, and blockchain-related metadata to authenticate users, link wallets, associate rewards, manage protocol access, and support blockchain interactions. Blockchain transactions are public, immutable, and outside VADER's control. Certain data, including wallet addresses and transaction records, may remain permanently visible on public blockchains and cannot be altered or deleted by VADER. Users are solely responsible for their wallets, private keys, signatures, and wallet security.

11. Rewards and Incentive Programs

VADER may offer Vader Points, $VADER rewards, or other protocol-related rewards for eligible contributions or activities. Participation in reward programs is voluntary. Reward eligibility may depend on submission quality, validation status, fraud checks, task requirements, wallet linking, and applicable program rules. Reward systems may change over time. Rewards are subject to the Terms and Conditions and any applicable program rules.

12. Sharing and Transfers of Data

We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Hosting, database, storage, authentication, security, email, infrastructure, and support providers.
  • Storage and Processing Providers: Providers used to store videos, images, contribution data, logs, account data, and related protocol records.
  • Partners: Partners who access Contribution Data, datasets, metadata, or related data for physical AI model training, evaluation, and validation under applicable terms.
  • Lab and Robotics Infrastructure Providers: Providers or operators involved in controlled lab validation workflows.
  • Legal or Regulatory Authorities: Where required by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or lawful request.
  • Corporate Transaction Parties: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, asset sale, or similar transaction.

Where data is transferred internationally to countries that do not provide an equivalent level of data protection, we implement appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law. For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or such other transfer mechanisms as are recognized under applicable law. We may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to support authentication, security, preferences, onboarding flows, referral tracking, and core Website functionality. 15. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. VADER does not sell personal information for monetary advertising purposes. However, certain partner access to Contribution Data or datasets may be considered a sale or sharing of personal information under California law. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email us at contact@vaderfun.org with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We will process your request within 15 business days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your opt-out rights. 16. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Contribution Data, videos, datasets, derived data, validation records, and related metadata may be retained as needed to support the license granted to VADER, dataset integrity, model training workflows, auditability, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and protocol operations. Biometric identifiers and biometric information are retained for no longer than three (3) years from the date of collection, or until the purpose of collection has been fulfilled, whichever comes first, as described in Section 5. Wallet and blockchain records may be retained as needed for rewards, accounting, compliance, security, and protocol access records.

17. Children's Data

The Website and services are not intended for children under 18, consistent with the eligibility requirements in our Terms and Conditions. Users must not upload videos, images, or other Contribution Data containing minors unless they are the parent or legal guardian and have all rights and consents required under applicable law.

18. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or unauthorized access. No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data, wallets, blockchain interactions, or third-party services.

19. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law. Where a breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will also notify affected individuals without undue delay, unless one of the following applies: we have implemented technical and organizational protection measures that render the data unintelligible to unauthorized parties; we have taken subsequent measures that ensure the high risk is unlikely to materialize; or individual notification would involve disproportionate effort, in which case we will make a public communication or equivalent measure. 21. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version will be made available on the Website. Continued use of the Website or services after updates become effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy. However, where we make material changes to how we process data for which we rely on your explicit consent, including biometric data, we will seek your renewed consent before applying those changes to your data rather than relying on continued use as acknowledgment.
